Terms of Service

NovoMeet connects to your calendar, sends an assistant into meetings you nominate, transcribes them, and produces written notes and summaries. We may change, add, or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will give you notice.

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. One account is for one person; do not share credentials.

You are responsible for having the legal right to record and transcribe every meeting you send NovoMeet into, including obtaining consent from participants where the law requires it. Recording rules vary by jurisdiction and can differ between the participants on a single call.

You agree not to use NovoMeet to:

• record anyone covertly, or where you have been asked to stop;
• capture meetings you have no right to attend;
• break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the limits of the service;
• resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being used this way, and will tell you why when we can.

Your meetings, recordings, transcripts, and notes are yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store, process, transcribe, summarise, and display that content to you and to the people you share it with.

We do not use your content to train generalised AI models. Handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Transcription and summarisation are automated and will contain errors. Speakers get misattributed, words get misheard, and a summary can state something the meeting did not. Accuracy varies with audio quality, accent, language, and how many people talk at once.

NovoMeet's output is an aid to memory, not a record of fact. Do not rely on it as a legal transcript, as minutes of record, or as the basis of a decision with consequences, without a human checking it against the recording.

NovoMeet works alongside Google Calendar, Google Meet, and other meeting platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and are outside our control. If a platform changes its behaviour and NovoMeet can no longer join or transcribe on it, that is not a breach of these terms by us.

We aim to keep NovoMeet running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. The assistant may fail to join a meeting, may be removed by a host, or may be blocked by a platform's settings. Where the service is provided without charge it is provided as is.

Paid plans, if you are on one, are billed in advance for the period stated at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We will give notice before a price change takes effect on your account.

You may stop using NovoMeet and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for a material breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service. On termination we delete your content in line with the retention section of the Privacy Policy; export anything you want to keep first.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovoLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss arising from inaccurate transcripts or summaries. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use NovoMeet after that means you accept the new terms.
